It’s been 5 days already since the rain was started and that is non-stop, because of this rain there are hundreds of families was affected in this weather. Aside on that Flash floods in Cagayan de Oro has been is one of the big tragedy happened in CDO. This morning after my duty and the rain is continue drooping I decided to take some photos in the city on what happened in 5 days rain. And this is what I got.
The people who leave under the bridge has been paranoid watching water flow.

We’ve been in Cagayan de Oro for almost 2 decades now and I witness the success of this City for the particular years that we live in the city. The City was called “The City of Golden Friendship” and now they called it the city of Bloom, Boom and Blossom city because of it’s improvement and the business industries are growing. Early this year the city has a good news because the replica of the Black Nazareno will be put permanently in Cagayan de Oro together with this it is the first time will Cagayan de Oro celebrating the Fiest of Black Nazareno. It was arrived on January 5, 2009 and on January 3, 2009 the flash floods is start and there are 47 000 families and 10 000 persons affected for the flash floods. When the black Nazareno is here already in Cagayan de Oro the tragic is started, you wonder why..? After the floods that start the the next is the non-stop of raining and because of that rain also another set of families are affected and there are life was lost and even the bridge was destroy. It is a big problem now to the local government to help those family affected in flash floods. Is this a co-incidence that after the Black Nazareno arrived in the City then the tragedy was start. What do you think?? According to them the City of Cagayan de Oro will be cleaned by the Black Nazareno. I will show you some pictures of flash floods in Cagayan de Oro.
