span style=”font-style: italic;”Guest post by Andy Walton/spanbr /br /We’ve all read, seen or heard something that we simply had to pass on. When things go viral, they can generate enormous amounts of traffic. And from massive amount of traffic, cash can be earned. So if you want to make money online you should think viral. But what rules can you follow to improve your chance of creating content that goes nuclear? I’ve taken a recent example from a href=”http://www.wikinut.com/”span style=”font-weight: bold;”Wikinut/span/a, and analyzed why it attracted so much attention.br /br /One of our users wrote a page about a campaign they were waging against a UK high street chemist for selling unproven homeopathic remedies – you can read it here. This sounds like a niche topic, but following its publication this page received a huge amount of traffic, generated lots of external links and received lots of feedback from readers. Let’s look at the reasons for the massive spike in traffic this page received.br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”Amuse me/spanbr /span style=”font-weight: bold;”———————–/spanbr /The page, which has a comic twist to a serious subject, offers readers a chance to laugh. A piece of potentially dry subject matter has been given a sprinkling of humour. Jokes are one of the oldest forms of viral communication – think of all those “have you heard the one about…?” gags. Most people are surfing for entertainment, so give them what they want.br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”Stay on topic/spanbr /span style=”font-weight: bold;”———————– /spanbr /Twitter is a great illustration of how certain subjects can trend, and other media outlets have similar obsessions each day. If you can exploit one of these spikes in interest, your page will have a far greater chance. Remember it is easier to ride the wave, than create your own ripples. This page followed other high profile campaigns in the UK on the same subject matter, and so latched onto the surge.br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”Be original/spanbr /span style=”font-weight: bold;”———————–/spanbr /Firstly, and perhaps most importantly the page described an idea that was original – never attempt to promote copied content virally, as it will flop. But this doesn’t mean you need to be completely original, so don’t panic. Seeing an existing idea in a new light, or from a different angle is the best way to brainstorm some ideas.br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”Draw me a picture/spanbr /span style=”font-weight: bold;”———————–/spanbr /A picture is worth a 1000 words, and perhaps double that when it comes to online viral marketing. This page’s photo of the rogue flyer in-store grabs the attention, and draws the reader in. Many virals are indeed only photos – but remember this means that they can then be passed around the web without reference to the original site… which means no advert revenue. So it’s best to try and give the user a reason to pass on the URL of your page, rather than just the content.br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”Be f***ing controversial/spanbr /span style=”font-weight: bold;”———————–/spanbr /Most gossip is based on controversial subjects, and the same applies to many of the best viral ideas. You want to stimulate interest and debate, and it ultimately doesn’t matter if your reader loves or hates your opinion so long as they pass it on. So perhaps this page’s message to subversively drop flyers into the store struck a nerve with the audience.br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”Author Bio:/spanbr /Andy Walton is inviting you to use a href=”http://www.wikinut.com/”Wikinut/a , a new publishing platform that pays lifetime royalties for your writing on a massive range of topics. span style=”font-style: italic;”Guest Post by Malick Yann/spanbr /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”What is an affiliate program ?/spanbr /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”/spanMany companies which sell products online provide an affiliate program. This is a simply way to advertise their products while saving money. When you register, the company give you links and banners which allow you to promote their products or services and then earn sales commissions when somebody buy their products or services through your affiliate links. It is a former system but it still work very well. It is also a good way to make more money online.br /br /However, why should you choose affiliate programs ?br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”1- The cost !/spanbr /br /In general, joining an affiliate program is completely free. So, why spend a lot of money when you can start your business online for free. In addition to join for free, it’s good to understand that you avoid all possible expenses you normally need to start a profitable business online.br /With affiliation:br /- No expenses to manufacture products you want to sell.br /- No expenses to build a sale’s website.br /- No expenses for the hosting of your sale’s website.br /- No personal expenses.br /The seller provide you what you need.br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”2- The ease-to-use !/spanbr /br /Affiliate programs are easy to use. You avoid all problems due to the management of a classic business: inventory control, budgetary control, purchase order control, risk management, data management… Being an affiliate allows you to avoid all these kind of worries.br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”3- The time !/spanbr /br /You don’t need to spend a crazy time to earn an regularly income. It is very easy to build automatic systems which can generate incomes every month without having to work every day.br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”4- The payment system!/spanbr /br /When someone click on your affiliate link and buy a product you will automatically get your sales commissions. You just have to log on to your affiliate account and check your selling and earning statistics.br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”Author Bio:/spanbr /Malick Yann is a lazy internet business and marketing teacher who help people to succeed online.br /Blog: a href=”http://i-moneymaker.blogspot.com”http://i-moneymaker.blogspot.com/abr /Twitter: a href=”http://twitter.com/malickyann”http://twitter.com/malickyann/adiv class=”blogger-post-footer”img width=’1′ height=’1′ src=’https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/31431603-832542490081692029?l=moneymakerinfo.blogspot.com’ alt=” //div

US Taxes Guide for Non US Affiliate Marketers

Such is their share of global search you simply cannot ignore their impact on your reader base. divbr /However, have you ever considered how Google can help improve your writing itself? If not, read on and I’ll give you some great new creative tips./divbr /divstrongQuick keyword ideas/strong/divdivstrong————————————/strong/divdivHere’s a quick first tip. When you’ve chosen your topic and have written your fist draft, you should spend a few minutes to ensure you have scattered all relevant keywords throughout your page. And where to get the key phrases to use? The search box on a href=”http://www.google.com/”http://www.google.com//a of course. /divdivbr /You’ve probably noticed the search suggestion drop down that appears as you type your search on the Google homepage. This is designed to predict the user input, and so by definition is offering a list of the most commonly entered terms that match your initial letters./divbr /divbr /It’s therefore a great way of borrowing your readers’ search terms. Let’s take an example – I’ll enter the phrase “writing blogs”. The drop down then offers me:/divdivbr /1. writing blogs for money/divbr /div2. writing blogs tips/divbr /div3. writing blogs online/divbr /div4. writing blogspot/divbr /div5. writing blogs for pay/divdivbr /These are listed in descending order of popularity, and so the higher up the list the more searches that term receives. So try to incorporate any phrases that are relevant for your article – remember to think of your reader though, so don’t just stuff words into your page for the sake of it./divdivbr /Have a go, and you’ll see how easy it is to play around with different words and phrases to get ideas for keywords. You can even use this process for getting new angles on topics about which you’ve already written./divdivbr //divdivstrong/strong/divdivstrongWrite about the moment/strong/divdivstrong————————————/strong/divdivIf you can’t even think of a theme for your page, you could try using Google Trends (a href=”http://www.google.com/trends”www.google.com/trends/a)./divdivbr /This is a page where Google show you the hot search terms and topics about which their users want to read. Writing about the day’s big issues is a great way to get readers, interest and comments. Think Twitter, but with more words./divbr /divAs I write this article, I can see the Kraft takeover of Cadbury is big in the business world, the Australian Open tennis has sports fans excited and searchers want more info about storms in California. You can drill down into more search terms, or enter some of your own ideas to see how popular they are./divdivbr /You’ll notice the variety of subject matter is very varied so there will generally be something that catches your eye./divdivbr /So the next time you’re sat in front of your screen feeling the onset of writers block, head over to Google and let them do the brainstorming for you./divdivbr /strongAuthor Bio:/strong/divdivAndy Walton is inviting you to use a href=”http://www.wikinut.com/”Wikinut/a, a new publishing platform that pays lifetime royalties for your writing on a massive range of topics. Use Google for Writing Inspiration, not just Traffic
December 28th, 2009 by dingdans
span style=”font-style: italic;”Guest Post by Andy Walton/spanbr /br /Last week, I wrote a guest post for this blog Money Maker Info about my site www.wikinut.com and the guest post was published to this blog audience. Writing content for other people has obvious benefits for them, but what are the upsides for you? So just one week on, I thought it would be interesting to assess what I gained from the exercise.br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”What to write?/spanbr /————————–br /This is perhaps the easy bit, so I’ll just offer 3 suggestions here:br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”1) Be original. /spanBy this I don’t mean some new work of genius, I simply mean don’t just cut and paste from another author. It shows little respect for site owners if you try to pass some obviously copied work off as your own.br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”2) Target your writing. /spanSpend a little time browsing the site to which you are submitting. Get a flavour for the type of content they publish, the topics and styles. Try to tailor your copy to suit the site.br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”3) Write what you know./span Stick to subjects about which you feel knowledgeable and comfortable. This will make the piece easier and quicker to write, and should make your post more readable.br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”How to submit your post?/spanbr /————————–br /Find a contact address on the site, and if possible try to write a personal email to the owner or editor.br /br /Explain the background to your post, what you are offering (free use to publish and modify) and what you expect in return (an author credit, a bio, a link to you site, etc).br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”Why should you bother?/spanbr /————————–br /OK, this is the interesting bit. There are quite a few motives for offering content – ego, self-promotion – but mine was to raise the profile of my new site. Therefore, I wrote a page about how Money Maker Info blog readers could earn money writing content for Wikinut.br /br /Primarily I was looking for exposure. So 7 days later, did I get any? Here are the stats:br /br /1) A search on Google for the (unique) first sentence of my post returns 173 results.br /br /2) This results are spread across dozens of different sites.br /br /3) A Twitter search returns over 20 tweets directly referencing my article – never mind related tweetsbr /br /4) And without giving away too much, the Make Money Online blog directly sent hundreds of motivated visitors – many of who signed up.br /br /This demonstrates the power of the web – a single post can rapidly spread across the internet via a variety of methods and mediums. Remember, these results are just 7 days old. So why not think about guest writing yourself?br /br /span style=”font-weight: bold;”Author Bio:/spanbr /Andy Walton, co-founder of a href=”http://www.wikinut.com/”Wikinut/a, has over a 10 years experience working for some of the UK’s biggest ecommerce businesses. He’s now inviting you to join a href=”http://www.wikinut.com/”www.wikinut.com/a, a new publishing platform that pays lifetime royalties for your writing on a massive range of topics.”div class=”blogger-post-footer”img width=’1′ height=’1′ src=’https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/31431603-7881803592284899051?l=moneymakerinfo.blogspot.com’ alt=” //div
